LegalHealth’s Informational Town Hall on the End of The Eviction Moratorium

On Thursday, January 20th, 2022, LegalHealth’s Housing Coordinating Attorney, Simone Meyer and Supervising Attorney, Howard Sherwin, hosted a virtual informational session on how the expiration of the NYS Moratorium will impact tenants facing eviction and what protections and resources remain to protect these vulnerable tenants. The information was presented to health care providers, social workers, care coordinators, case managers, and other hospital staff in order to help their patients navigate the complex court system and mitigate economic hardship and increased risk of eviction as a result of the pandemic.
